Why us?

Why not?

I mean, many people argue that you cant game on linux or you cant use photoshop on linux. But ask yourself, what do you do on your computer?

• Do you surf the web? -> we have you covered
• Do you listen to music -> we have you covered
• Do you look at images or videos? -> we have you covered
• Do you copy files from your phone to some drive? -> we have you covered
• Do you write documents? -> we have you covered (albeit, libreoffice looks extremly shitty)
• Do you play games? -> Valve Steam has you covered

So what is the problem, why is this not more used if it is so good?

• it looks different from your “standard” abusive software vendor. Do not sucumb to stockholm syndrome.
• video services do not release apps for linux, meaning netflix and disney. You can watch it in worst (hd?) quality they offer through firefox.
• you might need to use a terminal to fix a problem if it comes up.
• nvidia is a shitty vendor that doesnt play nice with the community, so if you have their hw, linux will not work the best for you. stick to windows in that case.
  • there is some work ongoing for nvidia problem to change, but its still far off. and even when it goes live, it will apply only on rtx2000 and later gpus.

It is not mandatory that you use software we provide. You really dont have to. But our purpose is not to have you abused, used and exposed, while all this is number one business purpose for companies like Microsoft, Meta, Alphabet and their friends, the Techbros.
